We just wrapped up a fantastic event that showcased the very essence of what our community is all about. It was our first-ever Service Club Member appreciation event, a day that resonated with joy, camaraderie, and, most importantly, a shared sense of community.

On a picture-perfect Saturday at Johnson Park, we enjoyed an afternoon full of entertainment, laughter, and some truly delicious food. The event was overflowing with family-friendly activities – from face painting and balloon animals to remote-controlled cars; there were smiles all around.

The heart of this event lay in our partnership with a special organization – Help Pregnancy Aid. Their mission is one of compassion and support, providing life-affirming services to women and families. They work tirelessly to empower pregnant and young mothers, providing vital educational opportunities, non-judgmental peer counseling, material support, and connections to adoption information. It was our honor to help further their noble cause.

We witnessed the power of our community as generous donations of diapers, baby wipes, formula, and clothing poured in at our Service Club Member appreciation event. So we have to get a shout out to Lake Michigan Mechanical. They were the only ones who could come do the repair today, everyone else was like three days or more out. They were really cool and made the best out of what was a really stressful day for us!! They were really respectful of keeping our door shut when they went in/out (you would not believe how many animals of ours have gotten out due to home repair people) and they cleaned up after themselves!! So far the hot water seems to be working great!
